Il Torneo Internazionale Under 12 di Maglie rappresenta da sempre una tappa fondamentale nel percorso sportivo e professionale di giovani tennisti e tenniste. Basti pensare al campione italiano Matteo Berrettini (Career-high ATP ranking: #6) o al greco Stefanos Tsitsipas (Career-high ATP ranking: #3), semifinalista a Maglie nel 2010, o ai talenti italiani Alessandro Giannessi e Martina Trevisan, vincitori rispettivamente nel 2002 e nel 2005. E ancora, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, (Career-high WTA ranking: #29) trionfatrice nel 2013, e tanti altri ancora, tra cui Liudmila Samsonova, Deborah Chiesa, Angelica Moratelli, Camilla Scala, Giulio Zeppieri e molti altri.

The Maglie Under 12 International Tournament has always been a key step in the sporting and professional development of young tennis players. A true springboard to success, as evidenced by the tournament’s roll of honor, full of illustrious names that today grace the most prestigious stages of world tennis.
